Education

For the past 24 years, David has served churches in Colorado, Nebraska, and Maine. He has also served as an Air Force Chaplain. For the past five years David has served as senior minister of John Wesley Church. During that time, he has provided strong and relevant weekly sermon messages that help people juxtapose the gospel of Jesus Christ with their lives. In addition, he has assembled a dynamic and talented collection of staff members both paid and volunteer, who lead an entire portfolio of weekly ministry and mission events. David loves
being involved in the community life of Falmouth, he and his wife Julie enjoy living in the town of Falmouth. They have three young children and two grown children.
 
For recreation, David's hobbies include bicycling, volleyball, golf, and antique cars.
 
Director of Christian Education Debra Bostwick
Debra was born and raised in Milton, MA a small suburb south of Boston. She has been living in Falmouth for almost 24 years. Debra's  parents and sister along with her family  reside here, also. She has a son, Samuel, who is a sophomore at Bridgewater University,studying Psychology. This is  Debra's  twenty fourth year teaching for the town of Plymouth. She has taught at many grade levels, during her years there, to include kindergarten,second,third, fourth and fifth grades. Debra has her Master's of Education from Curry College, where she,also,did  her undergraduate studies, in education. She is currently in the process of completing more credits in education beyond her master's. She  is at forty eight credits and is working towards sixty credits, in education.
           
               

Director of Music John Yankee

 A dynamic and versatile musician, Mr. Yankee is artistic director of  Falmouth Chorale & Orchestra, music director at John Wesley United Methodist Church, conductor of Cape Cod Opera and Falmouth Chamber Players, and choral director at Falmouth Academy. He is a member of Woods Hole Folk Orchestra, performs on hammered dulcimer, coaches ensembles, teaches privately and leads workshops ranging from Renaissance choral music to traditional bluegrass. He has written over 300 compositions and arrangements. Prior to coming to Cape Cod in September 2007, Mr. Yankee served as artistic director of the San Diego Choral Union and the Children's Choir, founded and directed the Telluride Choral Society, and was music director of the Telluride Chamber Orchestra and Repertory Company. He earned a Bachelor of Music Degree at Peabody Conservatory and Master's degrees at Yale School of Music and University of Pittsburgh.

Pianist/Organist Dr. Robert Wyatt
 
Steinway Artist Robert Wyatt has performed throughout the United States and internationally, gathering critical acclaim for sensitive and colorful solo and chamber music recitals. Featured on NPR and PBS broadcasts, Mr. Wyatt has also performed at the Kennedy Center, the Phillips Collection, Library of Congress and the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C., the Peabody Institute in Baltimore, Roosevelt University in Chicago, and Boston's Jordan Hall and the Museum of Fine Arts.

Mr. Wyatt holds three degrees in piano performance, studying with Bela Boszormenyi-Nagy in Boston and completing his doctorate with the eminent Hungarian pianist, Edward Kilenyi. He has served on the faculties of Boston University and The Florida State University, and is currently the Director of Music Highfield Hall at in Falmouth, Massachusetts.
